În cadrul convenției World Fantasy, care a avut loc la Montreal, Canada, 4 – 7 noiembrie, cu tema „Fantezie, imaginație și visele tinereții” (Fantasy, Imagination, and the Dreams of Youth), au fost anunțați câștigătorii World Fantasy Awards 2021. Cu această ocazie Megan Lindholm și Howard Waldrop au primit Lifetime Achievement Awards – premiu acordat pentru întreaga activitate.
